About Me

“Which of my photographs is my favorite?
The one I'm going to take tomorrow.”
Imogen Cunningham

My name is Vladimir. I'm a photographer.

I create a story, a mood, channeling the atmosphere of what I see. Photography for me is a way of self-expression. I capture the moment, and the moment becomes the story, the reflection of my vision.

For me, meaningful photography started in 2012. That year I bought the first professional camera and went to the Crimea to shoot, realizing that the camera that I have no longer meets my needs. I felt the magic of photography, and slowly began to understand the inner kitchen of this art, with its lenses, filters, shooting parameters and, of course, working in a graphic editors. This path is thorny and hard.

But every time you come back from the shoot enchanted and thrilled to upload all the pictures to your computer, you look through the pictures again, mentally returning to the story that just recently came true. Photography is not just a picture. This is a story that laughs, cries, makes you think, it is a storm of emotions or calm contemplation, enthusiastic feelings... It all depends on what you are shooting and what you want to channel through the final product. I am always open to those who want not just a fixed moment in time put on film, but something more. The emotional charge and joy from the shooting process that photography carries makes me pick up the camera and take pictures again and again.

Photography is art.

It's about finding the unusual,

in the usual place.
